Epic Style Yellow Flames Steering Wheel Cover Review

(More customer reviews)I went with the Epic Style Yellow Flames Steering Wheel Cover after scouring Amazon's mind-blowingly HUGE selection of steering wheel covers.

- Form
Most of the material of the steering wheel cover is vinyl. The material of the flames is colored rubber, so the yellow flames with their orange trimming are not painted on and will not rub off over time; the colors you see are in fact the color of the rubber. The flames are raised a few millimeters above the vinyl material.

- Fit
The wheel cover is a pretty tight fit for my Honda Civic steering wheel, which measures roughly 14-7/8". However, the open ends of the wheel cover do not wrap around the steering wheel as much as I would like them to. Most of the covers I've tried have that problem. It typically happens with steering wheel covers with raised designs, which restricts the pliability of a wheel cover to "hug" the steering wheel more closely.

- Comfort
The wheel cover improves the grip on my plastic steering wheel. I do mostly one-handed driving, so the rubberized flames provides the necessary grip and friction to aid me in turning the wheel with one hand during a turn. The other parts of the wheel cover are vinyl.

- Style
The flame design is smokin'! I have gotten quite a number of compliments on how nice my wheel cover looks! It is important, however, to keep the "flames" clean. Since they are a bright yellow, dirt deposits accumulate and show up conspicuously over time. So, clean the wheel to keep it looking new! I use Windex or any ammonia-based cleaning product; the dirt comes of quickly and easily - works like a charm!

- Durability
The steering wheel cover is very durable. I is subjected to extreme heat in the summer. I've had mine for 3 years and it is not showing any signs of wear.

Overall, I'm very happy with the Epic Style Yellow Flames Steering Wheel Cover. It has a eye-catching design that will draw lots of compliments. However, it is not all eye-candy; the rubberized sections of the wheel cover provide better grip to your steering wheel. It is also easy-to-clean and very durable. If you like the design and the specs are right, I would highly recommend this steering wheel cover.

No instructions needed.one button is clearly labeled record and the other play. You only record one message at a time and it is overwritten by the next but that's what makes it so simple to use. I bought it to clip on a measuring tape for a Father's day gift after hearing the lament that an aging memory resulted in forgetting a measurement by the time one walked from the measuring place to where the cut was to be made.Hopefully it will be a hit for that.In the meantime, I purchased another because a loved one was going to park at the longterm parking at the airport.Having forgotten myparking place on more than one occassion, and the experience of having to shuffle through scraps of paper to find where I had written it down while burdened with luggage and an armful of other travel debris made this seem like a very good way to note the cars location and have it clipped to the car keys ready to access on arrival.Even if it is only used once, its worth the cost rather than repeat my last experience of walking through the Las Vegas airport in 120 degree heat while clicking the emergency honker on my car key in hopes of locating my vehicle by sound.

(More customer reviews)The Utili-Key has to be one of the most convenient multi-tools out there. I don't go anywhere without it, and it gets a lot of use in all kinds of circumstances.
It's the size of a large car key. When it is locked on the keyring, it isn't going anywhere unless and until I am ready to use it. The screwdriver heads are fully functional and sturdy, although there is a risk of getting cut on the knife blade if it is handled carelessly (not like I'd do that, but this isn't a kid's toy). The blade is sharp and stays that way very well.
If you like being prepared for anything that might happen, this is a must-have tool for you. Check out the rest of Swiss-Tech's product line as well.
One warning: Do _not_ carry a Utili-Key in anything carried on a plane. Scanners do know what they are and how to find them. Stow it instead because it will be confiscated otherwise. I hate taking it off my keychain when I travel, but it must be done.
